Meet Flo

05 Road Queen

Hi, my name is Flo and I live in Grand Forks B.C..I have been riding for 6 years. I love to Ride Like a Pro!!

I purchased Motorman’s “Learn How to Ride the Easy Way”before I could even ride. I was enthralled about how Motorman taught and figured even I could learn how to ride at the age of 49. Later, if you can believe it I met his wife Donna Palladino from  Women Who Ride Forum.  How small is this world really?? We became friends and she later put her bike up for sale. Only one problem, we lived 6,000 miles apart! I simply mentioned my dream of flying out to meet her, taking the course and riding it home…..Long story short, you get all these Women Who Ride together and that is just what I did. I didn’t know a sole, and never rode a single mile alone. So began the Conga across America on motorcycles.

My life would never be the same.  I took the  course with Motorman in 2008, and rode it 6,000 miles home. My husband bought a  Harley from Motorman in 2009. I flew to pick it up and ride it home. I worked one on one, with Jerry and Donna helping in the classes and practicing hard to become a RLAP instructor. I trained hard too be able to Ride Like a Pro in Leesburg bikefest with the Team that year in 2009.

My dream became a reality. I rode in Leesburg with the pros, Motorman certified me. I Ride Like a Pro at 56. We created one of the strongest friendships ever between Donna and I and hundreds of women and men, that have rode across the country now raising money for Breast Cancer.
